i cannot download big mails in outlook express 5.0 when i shifted to a adsl
line from a dial-up

What is the mailbox quota (total disk space allocated to it) allowed by
your new ISP? Could be your mailbox quota is smaller. They may also
impose a per-message maximum size quota. Call your new ISP and ask
them. You are, after all, paying them to provide e-mail services.
