i cannot delete older messages from my Outlook 2002 Inbox. Help!

When I try to delete (or move) messages over about 11 months old from my
Outlook 2002 Inbox, I get the message "can't move the items". I am able to
delete newer messages normally, and to delete older messages, say, from Sent
Items folder. Does anyone know how to solve this please.
 
How big is your .PST file?
