This is a possible effect of some viruses or spyware--generally achieved by
manipulation of the hosts file. Have you both done full scans of your
systems in safe mode with both a currently updated antivirus and Microsoft
Antispyware?

No, it is not a ditto message, this just happened to me
in the last couple of days.

Yes, I have done this and I still get "The page cannot be
displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable.
The Web site might be experiencing technical
difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings.
I am open to suggestions
