Dom,

I have the same problem as of yesterday afternoon. I can receive emails but
I cannot send them. Actually, it seems they are sent, they go into the sent
folder but no one ever actually receives them. I am using Windows Mail.
Everything was working fine yesterday. This is now a big problem for me. If
you find the answer, please let me know.

for me yesterday it was ok and i have no answer for me it is the same
problem i am using windows vista windows mail if also you have the answer
please let me know

If the messages you send are not piling up in the Outbox, it may be problem
in the email server you are using, not in your machine. Try sending
yourself
a message and see if it arrives.

it is not problem of my serveur (FREE) because if i send email using program
"INCREDIMAIL" it is good .
i think it is a problem of windows mail

What if any antivirus programs do you have? Some of the common ones,
such as most of those from Norton or McAfee, cause various problems
in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately.

if i send an email to myself it doesnot arrive

Which antivirus program are you running?
Windows Mail is not compatible with most McAfee
and Norton security programs. Those will need to be
uninstalled, not just disabled.

After uninstalling your non-compatible antivirus, download
and install a more compatible antivirus like the free Avast:
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html

Even compatible antivirus programs will need to have their
email scanning option turned off. For more on this topic see

i find the solution:

windows mails
clique on "outils "
and "envois"

format d' envoi courrier
clique on "texte brut " instead of "HTML"
and i can send the email
it's ok

I tried that but it didn't work. Are you sure yours is working now. We
seemed to have had the exact same problem? Paul
