I can not send or receive email on pop acct.

I cannot receive my email or send on my laptop. I have entered the same info
as on my desktop, but when I sign on with the laptop and hit send/receive
messages, I get the error message---0x8004010F error-no object found.
As I said I have no problem on my desk top with the pop acct but cannot get
it to work on laptop. What does that error message mean?
 
did you try using detect and repair? does the address book open?
