email sent to wrong inbox

I have a Desktop PC and a Laptop connected on my LAN. Outlook 2007 is on both
computers running under Vista. I have been using the desktop Outlook data
file to send and receive emails. I am going on a trip and want us use my
laptop directly. I have opened a Outlook data file on my laptop and changed
the folder in account settings to send email to my laptop inbox. I can send
emails but they are always received in the desktop inbox. I have disconnected
the desktop from the router and they still don't come to the laptop inbox.
When I reconnect the desktop I can receive them in the desktop inbox. How do
I get around this

Sounds like you need to change your default delivery location.
File-> Data File Management...-> select your pst-file-> button Set as
Default
