I have a problem with windows mail.
I can not SEND. But I can RECEIVE.
The failure message is :

Impossible d'envoyer le message. Le paramètre d'authentification n'est
peut-être pas correct pour votre serveur de messagerie pour courrier
sortant.

L'adresse de messagerie refusée était '(e-mail address removed)'. Objet 'Fw: Repérage
NEC', Compte : 'IMAP.AOL.COM', Serveur : 'SMTP.FR.AOL.COM', Protocole :
SMTP, Réponse du serveur : '556 CLIENT AUTHENTICATION REQUIRED. USE ESMTP
EHLO AND AUTH.', Port : 25, Sécurisé (SSL) : Non, Erreur de serveur : 556,
Numéro d'erreur : 0x800CCC78

Does your connection to that server cross over from one internet provider's
equipment to another's before it gets to the server? If so, such
connections
to port 25 are often blocked to cause trouble for spammers. Check if
AOL's instructions allow you to use a port other than port 25.

As far as I know, AOL does not use port 25. I don't have access
to the French version of AOL's email setup instructions, but
here are their instructions for US residents:

You should be able to find equivalent instructions for the
French version of AOL.
