I can get e-mail but not send it my provider is roadrunner why?

The POP3 connection is accurate and i have done everything the outlook guide
sugest. Roadrunner is formally adelphia does anyone else have this problem?
Please Help I need my e-mail to work.

What happens when you try?
See if setting your SMTP server to use authentication helps.
Additionally, if you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook,
disable this integration and try again.
