I appear to be locked out of my outlook pst file

When starting outlook, my pc cannot access my pst file, so I cannot use
outlook at all.

What error do you get?

Does your PST file still exist? Can you find it in Explorer? If you're using
2k/XP, search for *.pst in My Computer (include hidden/system folders in
your search)

What version/mode/SP level of Outlook? (help | about)
