I am using Outlook 2007
If I create an appointment with another person's calendar open, the
appointment will take this other person as the creator. If I want to be the
creator, I will have to find the time for the appointment, close down all
calendars but my own, close down Outlook, start up Outlook again and then
create the appointment.

I do not know what is wrong, but it is not very easy to work with. Can
somebody help me?

Are you opening outlook with your own mailbox as default? Do you have send
as or delegate permission for the other calendars? When you start the
appointment are you in your mailbox or their mailbox?

Dear Diane
I am opening Outlook with my own mailbox as default - I do not have access
to other person's mailboxes, just their calendars. Even if I do not have
access to create something in the calendar of eg. person xxx, this person xxx
is still stated as the creator of appointments that I create - just because I
have the person xxx calendar open. And if I have my calendar open together
with 3 other calendars, it is always the calendar opened first after my own
that will be the creator of appointments (sorry, if I don't use the correct
words - my Outlook is in Danish, so it's a little difficult).

It sounds like something is wrong with the permissions on the other
calendars. Ask your admin to check the permissions and verify you do not
have send as permission for the other mailboxes (and they should not have
send as permission on yours, unless they specifically need it).
