Can someone PLEASE tell me the quickest, easiest way to use Vista? I
absolutely HATE it. The tabs close, EVEN THOUGH I DO NOT "X" out of them! I
click a link in an email and it uses one of my open tabs to open the link!
Control panel doesn't open. This is making my life so difficult! I'm about to
throw this notebook out the window. Please email me at
(e-mail address removed)... I am NOT tech-savvy and it took me way too long
to figure out how to ask a question here and I don't k now how to check the
answers!!
Thanks!

Please look out the window first to be sure u don't hit anyone when u
toss that laptop out.

If you can't figure out how to check postings here you are too dumb to
use ANY OS. Methinks you are another lame troll...

Wow. I feel sorry for you that you would respond to someone asking for help
like that. You shouldn't be allowed to post.

I am guessing that you are refering to Internet Explorer 7, not Vista.

It sounds like some of your issues can be handled by right clicking
hyperlinks. This gives options on opening the links.

Most people here will not reply via email, if this is a new laptop I would
contact the mfg for support.

Rather than wasting everyone's time posting here, why not go to a hospital
and have that stick removed from your ass.

From where and how long ago did you install Vista on your laptop. Did it come with the laptop on purchase and which make is the laptop. Was Vista an Upgrade to a previous OS or was it a Retail product.

Can you answer the above please so as we know where to start giving you help and or advice.

Please ignore David's comments to you . It is not worth getting upset about someone's ignorance

Thank you... it came on the Dell Vostro 1500 notebook. Someone did tell me
about right clicking to open a link in a new tab... this used to be my
husband's computer but I'm the primary user now, so I have no idea how it's
set up or anything. Is there a book or something that would help me figure
this out? I'm sure once I understand how it works it won't be so bad... I
appreciate your response and your help.

You can read replies, you lying troll!

If you're uncertain about even basic Windows tasks, a book would probably be
a good idea. Most booksellers have the "Idiot" guide series, those are
generally pretty good books. You might also consider looking at Amazon.com
where you can preview most books before you buy them.
