I have recently purchas a new computer. My computer came aquipted with a free
trial of Office 2003. I decided to see what it look like (office 2003) so i
took my computers offer for the free trial. Having already purchased (a few
yrs ago) office xp, i then changed my mind and decided to install my office
xp again. After contacting Microsoft to have my product key over rided
(previous computer crashed), I finally installed all products. However, when
i went to access my Oulook, i received a message that stated "unable to open
your default e-mail folders". I am wondering if this may be a PATH issue
because i had deleted the Office 2003 progame or what? Please help.

The most likely reason that you are getting that message is that Outlook
2003 has a new PST file format that is not compatible with earlier versions
of Outlook. You would have create an Outlook 97/2002 compatible PST file in
Outlook 2003 and move the items to it before reverting back to a previous
version of Office/Outlook.
