I am now unable to hyperlink in Word 2003

I have no idea how this happened but I am unable to create hyperlinks is
word. For example, if I type in "www.cnn.com", it automatically changes to {
HYPERLINK "http://www.cnn.com" }


Does anyone know how this happened and how I can fix it? I would be
eternally grateful for any assistance. Please feel free to email me directly

You need to toggle the display of field codes ALT+F9
