I am having a problem with getting Work 2007 convert 1/3 to â…“

Used to be when I typed things like 1/2 word would automatically convert it
to ½ but now it doesn't am I missing a setting somewhere?
 
Word Options > Proofing > Autocorrect Options > Autoformat As You Type >
second item. However this will only work for those fonts that actually have
the required fraction characters. 1/3 is probably not covered. For those
that aren't there are a couple of possibilities - see:
