I added some pages and now it skips 3 pages when scrolling down?

Is this when you're in presentation/show view, or when you're editing the file?
 
Did you accidentally hide some slides? In PPT 2002/2002 you can check the
thumbnails at the left of your screen. If the have a gray box with a line
next to the thumbnail, that slide is hidden.

Otherwise, go to Slide Show > Hide Slide (to slide or unhide a slide).
