I accidently delete the "open with.." in register.

In Windows-Explorer, right click the mouse, one can choose the
"open with" to choose an application to open it. Now this is gone,
it's very inconvenient.

Can I get it back?

Thanks in advance.

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\, HKEY_USERS\ or HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\!?

And this relates to OpenWith in some way?

Did you try simply rebooting the (unspecified OS) system?

Then typically you should start a new news thread for your new
topic.

Okay. This group handles about a dozen NT5x versions despite
"win2000" in the group name. Normally one should include the OS
version and service pack level in your news group post (not by the
way "mail").

I see you cosmetically removed the virtual Recycle Bin folder on
the Desktop and did not (my bad assumtion) manage to remove the
\RECYCLER folder on a volume.

How you did it may be important, but perhaps this will help,

...but, then, you also might consider using a competent newsreader,
eh?
