Hyphenation..

We use Word 97.

When I do not want to separate the hyphen of -97%, I use CTRL and the -.

My document is in columns and this time, even if I use the CTRL and the -,
the -97% is still separated.

Any idea why?

Ctrl+Hyphen is an optional hyphen. For a nonbreaking hyphen, use
Ctrl+Shift+Hyphen. You could also use a minus sign (character 2212), but
this might not print on some machines.
