Hyperterminal not responding to Keystrokes or commands

I use hyperterm to connect to my cisco 67X modem. I used in the past to set
the modem up and recently I used it to reconfigure my modem. though the last
I opened HT the terminal window would not repsond to keystrokes. I turned on
local echo and saw what I was typing but the terminal window would not
connect to my modem., even though it said it was connected no data from the
modem would be displayed. would like to know if there is a fix for this or if
I can re isntall HT instead of installing a hwole new terminal program.
 
You'd stand a much better chance of getting the answer you need if you
posted to a newsgroup that deals with the specific operating system you are
using. This one is for Microsoft Access database software.
