Hyperlinks

Newly created hyperlinks do not work. Receive message "The address of this
site is not valid. Check the address and try again." Also get "Unable to
open http:// (and the balance of the url). Cannot locate the Internet server
or proxy server."

XP Pro, Outlook 2003 and MS Office Word as editor.
Single PC on cable.
