Hyperlinks to a PDF or Word File

When I insert a hyperlink to an internal or external webpage, I have no
problem. However, when I insert a hyperlink to a pdf or word file that exists
on my computer -- it doesn't work. It looks like it works when I have the
Frontpage program open, but on the web nothing happens when you click on the
link. Is there an additional step for linking this type of file that I am
missing?

Make sure you import the PDF or Word document in to your web before creating
the link to it.

You must import the document into your current open FP web prior to linking to it.

Please provide a URL to the pdf or word document you have trouble with.

Did you import the document(s) first into your (open) Web?
