Hyperlinks in Word 2000

How do you delete multiple hyperlinks at one time. I have a 3 page Table of
Contents and each heading has a hyperlink and I need to delete the hyperlink.

Thanks very much,
Minnie

Hi Minnie
Was your table automatically generated? If so check the table of contents
field code (Shift F9 when cursor is on table). Remove the \h from the code
and then update the field.

If the contents wasn't automatically generated, then highlight the table of
contents and press Ctrl+Shift+F9 - this will replace the hyperlinks with flat
text.

Hi Kimmi,

Thanks for your reply. Actually the toc was auto generated but, when I do
Shift F9 when on the table, it changes only one toc entry to code and the
balance of the table still has hyperlinks.

I used the Ctrl+Shift+F9 on this toc and it worked and took out all of the
hyperlinks.

Thanks and bye for now.

For future reference, Alt+F9 will toggle all fields at once, but Shift+F9
should toggle the entire TOC to a single TOC field, from which you remove
the \h switch. You must then press Alt+F9 or Shift+F9 again to toggle the
field back and F9 to update it, at which point the entries won't be
hyperlinked (though the page numbers still will be).

Hi Suzanne,

They wanted all of the hyperlinks deleted, including the page number
hyperlinks.

Thank you for your help.
