Hyperlinks/Bookmark within a slide

Is it possible to create a hyperlink or bookmark to an object that is in a
PPT slide? For example, I would like to mouse over/click WordArt and have a
pop-up box appear. I don't want to link out to another program or even
another slide.

Thanks!

Sure can if you have 2002 or 2003 versions. They are called "Triggers".
Right-click your object and select "Custom Animation", set the animation of
it to show up the way you want (Appear, for example). Click the dropdown
arrow in the TaskPane for that animation and click "Effect Options". You
will find Triggers there. You can assign this animation to be triggered off
any other object when it is clicked.
