How do I show a slide show within a slideshow?

I am preparing a powerpoint lesson. One one slide I have put two hyperlinks,
each hyperlink will link to an additional lesson the teacher may choose to
use. I don't want it to link to separate powerpoints because I'm trying to
save space. Each additional lesson will be about 5 slides long. I can set
the action settings so that the hyperlink goes to a specific slide, but it
will not continue to the next slide without another action button. I don't
want action buttons on each slide, but want to go to the next slide in the
additional lesson with a mouse click. Is this possible?

Mama Kat,
Can't you link to a custom show?
Put all the slides in one show, make a custom show of lesson 2 and three
using Slide Show - custom show - new - select slides - add - OK - close. Now
link to them, Insert - link - select your custom show, don't forget to click
the box show and return.

Instead of linking to other shows I like to "Insert" them into the main
presentation. "Insert > Object > Create From File"

In addition to Austin's recommendation, consider representing the inserted
object with some sort of icon on the slide, then use animation triggers to
open the extra slides upon clicking. I recommend using an icon other than the
default PowerPoint icon. That way, if the presenter chooses not use the
added slides, the audience wont' think that their missing out on something.

The same approach can be taken with Custom Shows.
