hyperlinks are not routing correctly

I am using hyperlinks to link between locations within the same document
using bookmarks. I have set up all the bookmarks and hyperlinks, yet when I
click on the hyperlink, I am directed to the top of the first page of the
document, not to the bookmark specified. BUT, when I link to these same
bookmarks from OTHER documents, it routes to the correct place. Basically, I
am having no problems linking between separate documents, but linking within
the same document is sending me to the top of the doc???? PLEASE HELP. I have
a work deadline and I can't seem to figure this out.

Thanks!

As one "worker" to another, let me take a whack at this.

It may be that you need to edit the hyperlinks in your base doc. Highlight
one of the links, right click on it, and choose EDIT HYPERLINK. When that
window opens, you'll see a list of all thebookmarks in your doc. Check there
to be sure the link is going where you want it to go. Make sure the PLACE IN
THIS DOCUMENT button is selected on the left side of the window. It probably
will be, but ya never know. Good luck!
