Hyperlink problem in Word 2003

I am working with Word 2003 and trying to use hyperlinks in the TOC to make
the document jump to specific sections within the document. I have added the
bookmarks in the proper places yet when I try to insert the hyperlink, the
bookmark I want to go to is not listed. How can I add the bookmark to the
"select a place in this document window" in the edit hyperlink window? Any
help appreciated!

Thanks Suzanne that really helped, and was a lot easier than what I was
trying to do! Probably won't be the last time I try to reinvent the wheel,
but gratefully there are forums like this one to help when I'm going there.
Thanks again!

Glad I could help. One of the greatest keys to using Word effectively is
knowing that features exist. One of the primary purposes of moving from
toolbars and menus to the Ribbon in Word 2007 was to make features more
"discoverable." I'm not sure how well this is working, but many features are
certainly more prominent than in the past.

FWIW, I have usually found it helpful to assume that, if a thing is worth
doing, Word probably has a built-in easy way to do it, and it's just up to
me to find that way. This does lead to disappointment sometimes, when
features that are self-evidently worthwhile (and frequently requested) don't
exist (and sometimes there's not even a hard way to accomplish certain
things), but more often than not I find that someone has been ahead of me in
designing a feature.
