hyperlinking files

I need to hyperlink a cell to another excel file. However instead o
merely hyperlinking I need to link it to a particular tab in the file


Any one know how

Use the tab and cell reference as an anchor:



Workbook1.xls#Sheet1!A5

Not sure what's "above" on a newsgroup, but try using Insert/Hyperlink
and navigating to the document you want to hyperlink to in the Hyperlink
wizard. Then add the # with a valid sheet and cell reference, in the
form #SheetX!A1, but substituting your sheet name.
