I have created an email address hyperlink in a word document and won't to
attached the word document to the email when the hyperlink is selected. Can
anyone assist me.

I have created an email address hyperlink in a word document and won't to
attached the word document to the email when the hyperlink is selected.

AFAIK, the <action> of a mailto type hyperlink is to start a new message
in your system's default mailtool. At least that's the case in HTML and,
therefore, in a browser. You can specify a subject, cc, etc., but not an
attachment.

A simple mailto hyperlink will not do, hence.
