Hyperlink to Flash

Can I set a hyperlink to a flash file (audio only), and configre this link to
play the flash file on the same web page (a 2nd page does not open to play
the flash file)?

It's not a hyperlink in the normal sense.

Go here: http://www.jimcosoftware.com/addins.aspx
and download the Free addin named Flasher.

It should do what you want.

Daniel,

A better option would be to embed the flash file on the web page and then
use action scripts within the flash file to turn the music on and off.

This would allow the user to control the audio.

Keep in mind that this solution will only work for the page you have the
flash file embedded, so if they are navigating to another page the music
would stop if it was playing.

If you want music to play throughout the site, then you would need to use a
frameset or you could use a pop-up window with a player control (On / OFF)
