Hyperlink States in drop-down list to satistical data (FP 2002)

I have a States drop-down list and want to link each entry (State) to
statistical data in another file in my web.

Also, I would want the results to appear in a text box on the same page.

If too complicated, I'd appreciate a less involved process to produce this
result.

If this information is in a database you might want to visit..

Also you could filter the database (using a Drop-down) if listed by state
in the database. Nice Tutorial here.

Thanks, John. Only problem is my data is not in a database. It's in a text
file in my web. The 50 States, actually, so I'd need 50 seperate links to
data related to each State.
