Hyperlink Problem

Hello,

I currently use Outlook 2003 SP3 along with IE7. I recently downloaded the
IE7Pro add-on, and with it enabled, I cannot open any hyperlinks from Outlook.

When I click on the hyperlink in an Outlook message, a new IE window opens
with my homepage showing, not the link.

Before, the hyperlink would open in a new tab, not a new window.

I have disabled the add-on, reset my web settings, set IE7 as my default,
and checked the "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" button.

Before downloading the IE7Pro Add-On, I could open links from an Outlook
2003 message in a new tab in the current IE7 window.

Also, I my operating system is Windows Vista.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks,
Amanda

what options did you enable in IEPro?

The two that were enabled were:

IE7Pro BHO
IE7Pro Preferences

And I currently have them both disabled.

so it works correctly with them disabled? when they were enabled in IE,
what options did you have set in IEPro?

No - it wouldn't work correctly with them disabled either. However, I just
completed a system restore that removed the add-on completely, and now the
links open as they did before.

Thanks for your help. It seems like the IE7Pro add-on was the problem.

I suspect it might be causing a problem for me with secure sites - I can't
log into any that redirect during logon. I installed it to try it but it
caused problems so I disabled it but didn't uninstall it and actually forgot
about it until now.
