hyperlink issue

Good morning,

I am having a weird problem with hyperlinks to various pdfs.

On 1 computer I click on the hyperlinks and adobe open and displays the
documents. However, when I used another computer, adobe open and rapidly
closes (like a flash). It does not remain open, or display the doc to the
user.

Is this db issue or an OS issue?? Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry. This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the
database program in Office Professional. It appears your question may not
be related to these subjects. The Microsoft help system is not all that
clear and may have misdirected you here.

It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the
subject of your question. You should find people better able to address
your problem there.

Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any
program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate the
operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question.

Are you telling me this is an OS issue? or has this been known to be an
issue with Access?

To the best of my knowledge it is not an Access issue, but as you appear
to have found out, it is an Adobe issue in your case.

To be honest, I the message I left was incomplete. My first guess was
that it was not involving Access at all. We get a lot of non-Access
questions since "Access" is the first newsgroup on the list and many people
don't notice that there are others and have no idea what Access is.

I hope my answer helped direct you towards your answer and did not
distract you from finding an answer.
