hyperlink in signature

I want to include my email address in my automatic signature. When I created
my signature my email address showed up as a hyperlink. But when I opened a
blank email my address showed up, but not as a hyperlink. I want it be be
sent as a hyperlink.
On my co-workers computers, the hyperlink feature works automatically; it
seems mine is the only computer it doesn't work on. How can I allow my email
address to show up in my signature as a hyperlink in my signature?

Include your mail adress as a mailto URL; i.e., <mailto:your@address> Most
HTML-aware mail clients should handle it. Many HTML-aware mail clients
would handle the address without the explicit mailto as well.
