Diane Poremsky said:This is a problem with IE, its not an Outlook error. You need to reset your
internet settings in IE's Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab. (Or Control
panel, Internet options, Advanced tab).
See http://www.slipstick.com/problems/link_restrict.htm for more
information.
if this is not the problem, we need to know exactly what happens when you
try to open a link.

Becca said:Hi I am having the same problem and the msg I get is " this operation has
been canceld due to restrections in effect on this computer. Please
contact
your system administator"
The email was working fine then this came up . My husband also had the
same
problem but it seems to have corrected it self. MY has not after 5 days.
I tried your suggest with IE but it did not work.

Diane Poremsky said:Unfortunately, if "Set Program Access in Control Panel"
(http://www.slipstick.com/problems/link_restrict.htm#set) doesn't fix it, I
don't know what will. Maybe try the internet explorer forum, as the problem
is with it, not outlook.
