Sure. Go to cell A1 of the worksheet, and hit Insert-->Name-->Define and
give it a name; we'll use MyBook as an example.
Then, in Word, do the hyperlink to the file and add this to the end of the
hyperlink:
#MyBook
So, it'll be something like:
C:\Documents\MyFolder\MyExcelFilename.xls#MyBook

Thanks, but I can't get that to work. I have a excel file that has 50 or so
tabs. I want to hyperlink from word to any one of those tabs. Doing it the
way you showed me just takes me back to the tab that I was on when the file
was last saved.
I just tested it in Word/Excel 2000, and it worked perfectly for me. Does
your workbook possibly have any macros? Perhaps you didn't name the range
and the hyperlink text exactly the same?

Tec: Try it with a NEW, blank document and Excel workbook. If it works that
way, likely it's a macro in your Excel file or something.
