Hello, I have searched and searched for a way to edit a word hyperlink to
open to a certain page in a pdf. Is this possible? I believe a way to do
this in html is to add #page=xx at the end of the code. This does not work
within word though.

Any suggestions or is this not possible? I would also like to do the same
for a ppt file.

thank you

it _should_ work the way you're describing it, at least when the PDF is
accessed through a proper URI (as, for example, on a website):

http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/en/acrobat/PDFOpenParams.pdf

Hi Robert, sorry for the confusion. the web is not involved. It is a link
in word to go direct to a pdf. Any ideas?

thank you

Hi Robert and thank you. I will assume that a hyperlink in word to call a
page in a pdf can not be done.

sorry, no further ideas: it works if you put the PDF on a website (the
document where the link is may be local to your HD or file server,
doesn't matter), but I don't know of any way to get this to work with a
local file.
