Hyper threading And Windows XP HOME

I have an P4 3,2 Hyper threading. I also have Windows XP Home. Do I get all the power of HT or I need XP PRO???

Hi Yiannis.

You will need to install XP pro to get the full power of hyperthreading.

Yiannis,

Windows XP Home Edition will use the hyper threading on your CPU as long as
it is enabled in the BIOS of the PC.
You can then turn on the view of both "cpu's" in Task Manager to see them
both doing work.

Thanks a lot!!! Both of you. In the task manager I can see both of them (2x3,20Ghz)so it is possible that they are working. The fact is that my PC is very fast now but I am not sure that the speed is the propert for a 3,2 HT..
