Hyper Terminal Problem

Hello Friends,
i have developed hyper terminal same as inbuilt with windows 98.

my application is working well in window98 but i found problem while
installing in winXP,

i want to know that how to set protocol (ansi, ansiw, vt100....) with
mscomm component (i have developed my program in vb6)

please guide me.
