Human Interface Device

Brett

hi - i run windows xp pro and have two usb ports.

should i therefore have a HUMAN INTERFACE DEVICE entry in
my device manager? i don't and i think i should as i want
to use one usb port for bluetooth and can't.

i looked in 'administrative tools', services under the
entry 'human interface device' and it said it
was 'stopped'. when i tried to start it, it came back with
an error message and said it couldn't start.

can anyone help?

I use my USB ports for various things (USB jump drives, iPaq) and my
Human Interface Device in the Services is set for disable. Do you have
the correct drivers installed for your Blue Tooth adapter? This could
be what the problem is. I would suggest checking the manufacturers
website for drivers and try to install them and see what happens.

HTH,
Dave
