hi ya all,

i'm setting up a network at my small busieness, and i was wouldering what
the best cable to use to connect hub to hub

cat 5 utp crossover or
cat 5 ftp crossover or stranght thur

can someone help

Some hubs have one of the ports designated for connecting to another
hub and may have a switch selecting normal or crossover mode. Some
even have 2 ports marked with the same number - one normal the other
crossover. Hubs of this type can be connected with a straight
through patch cable. Note that if both hubs have this option it needs
only to be configured/selected on one of them.

Ethernet (LAN) hub are becoming more likely old legacy (disappearing)
devices. These are usually replaced by switches and most newer
switches can automatically detect when a port is connected to a hub/
switch. This seems to then allow the port to become cross-over. A
lot of switches that have this feature usually describe it as MDX.
