I am relatively new to networking other than a simple crossover
connecting two computers via their Network adapters.
Have often heard the terms switch and hub used. They appear to be used
interchangeably but I get the feeling they are two separate things. And
of course, there is a 'router'.
What is the difference between a hub and a switch, if any? And. which
is a router, a hub switch or maybe both? Or does it really matter? I
have a router now and it works like I thought it would so maybe I don't
really need to know the difference.
Thank you
