Hi all,
I am unable to access "https://web.site" type of websites
from my computer. i have just installed an ADSL
connection based on PPPoE using win XP's inbuilt dialer.
My windows messenger also refuses to connect. Yahoo
messenger and all other websites are working fine.

Can anyone help?

I got it working ...

i playing around with env variables and my user profile got corrupted somehow. I created a new user and log-in to the new profile and the problem got fixed.... I have to customise my desktop again... but it is a lot better than re-installing windows ..

Ankit, check this article out... very informative..
