HTTP infront of WWW

Pieter

Hello All

I have a few PC's that, recently, if you do not enter
http:// in front of www in IE6, the browser does nothing.
It just sits there, no error message, no activity,
nothing. If you then type http:// in front of www, it
works fine.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Cheer
Pieter

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
