HTTP 500 error

I keep getting this error when I try and access my works secure site. Used to
be able too? The support page suggests a fix - Q831167 but I already have it
and SP1.
When I try and download Q831167 it says I must have SP1 loaded....but I DO !
So infuriating.
Can anyone help?

Try this:

How to troubleshoot problems accessing secure Web pages with ...:

That's not a whole heck of a lot of help really but the basic ideas are
there. I'd try those and work up from there. If nothing else have you tried
the IT department at work?

Well that's a bit of a commundrum now isn't it? :) Actually I liked ME a
lot.

Take a look here:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;Q261328&

Does that help?

On the bottom part of the URL that I gave you there's some options that you
still might give a try.
