HTTP 400 - Bad Request

Jacqui

Hi Everyone,
Am having a little trouble with Internet Explorer. I am
having this error message after I try to load a page and
it is like the computer isn't even trying to "find"
or "load" the page. Is there something I can do about
this?
Thanks
Jacqui

Hi Jan,
It is definately an error 400. The second site is useful
however it doesn't say how to fix it. I know the site
exists cause its ebay....once I search an item - i am
unable to view following pages even though I have used
another computer and it works fine. Not sure if this
makes sense (I don't know much about computers)

Hi anonymous :)

I have seen a lot of various problems regarding eBay, not sure why this one
cropped up though. If it just started, you may have some malware or other
warez on your system that can cause the problem. Try downloading, installing
and running the programs below and see if they help. Be sure to update
SpyBot and AdAware before running them.

Jacqui, any error message after/before the 404 error?

You may receive an error message when you use CIS with a proxy server
When you use Microsoft COM Internet Services (CIS) with a proxy server (such
