You can write an HTML page using HTML tags such as <p> </p>
(just examples) and then save the file using the "all files"
drop file type in the drop list and naming the file as
either htm or html such as filename.htm or filename.html

To open the file, double click it and it will open in
Internet Explorer.

If you encase the name in quotes, then you don't have to change the file
type to All files.
Otherwise, a text extension could be added.
You would have something.html.txt

Notepad | File | Save As | File name: something.html | Save button

Works for me.

Using quotes also works.

I do see your point!!! :) Thanks for the reply.
