Help with Outlook2000: I receive email from various newspapers in HTML
format, but when I click on the link in the body of the message, to a
specific article, the link does not respond. Nothing! In the past, when the
link was clicked, a browser launched and went direct to the article. Help
please!!

See if resetting your web settings will solve it;
Control Panel-> Internet Options-> tab Programs-> button Reset Web
Settings...
