HTML messages changed to Rich Text

I have a client who sends me important emails created in HTML, but when I
recieve them, they're always in Rich Text! I've searched in vain for a
setting to change this, but can't seem to find it. We are in an Exchange 2003
environment, and I though email by default was viewed in HTML. Some
documentation on the MS KB said I should at least be able to open the email
and in the Format menu choose to change to an HTML view, but when I do this
for this client, I don't get HTML as an option. This client also informs me
that no one else has this problem, they can see the HTML version of the page.
Please help!

when a message is RTF format, the only option to change to is plain text -
once in plain text you can change to either rtf or html.

Are you in his address book as to always send RTF?
