html links not working in news

while in newsgroups when a link to go to a website is highligted I click on
it and it does nothing. but if it is an email address it will open to send
mail? any fixes for this........thanks

Installing the latest Cumulative Patch for IE may solve the problem as a
side-effect. Check in at Windows Update.
