HTML Insert

I have a page that I edited in FP (2003) and inserted it into an e-mail message via insert... file.. insert as text. Everything seems to work correctly when I send this message to myself but for the pics I inserted "<img src=http://www.myhost.com/image.gif" in the html file. The file that I get back in the test message has the same entry replaced with "src="cid:[email protected]". Did I miss something? What is going on here and why

You probably have Outlook set (in Tools | Options | Mail Format | Internet
Format) to embed images in outgoing HTML messages.
