html in my computer

The my computer window has suddenly stopped showing html. Everything is shown
as normal icons like in any old folder. Does anyone know how to restore "my
computer" to how its shown when you first install windows without having to
use system restore.

(btw, windows xp with sp2)
 
a.. Open Internet Explorer
a.. From Tools menu, choose Internet Options
a.. Select the Programs tab.
a.. Click Reset Web Settings button
